Big Sky Restaurants From Yurts to Fine Dining
Rainbow Ranch Lodge • Rainbow Ranch Lodge is proud to offer world class contemporary cuisine, originating from the finest and freshest products available. We use a network of small purveyors for fresh, healthy ingredients, which help inspire us to create culinary and visual masterpieces.
Montana Dinner Yurt • Located at Big Sky Resort, The Montana Dinner Yurt offers an intimate and unique backcountry dining experience you will not soon forget. Nestled in the woods on the flanks of Lone Peak, our warm and cozy candlelit dinner yurt is accessed by snowcat and serves an indulging and savory meal in a casually elegant atmosphere.
Your evening begins at The Montana Dinner Yurt meeting area located on the second floor of Big Sky’s Summit Hotel, just slopeside of the Carabiner Lounge. After checking in by 6:30 p.m., guests board Betsy and Dolly, our heated and enclosed passenger snowcats, for a fun and jovial twenty-minute ride through the picturesque forest to our private backcountry location.
Upon arrival to our yurt, a torch-lit sledding run and roaring bonfire lights up the scene outside, while inside the toasty yurt candles flicker and the wood stove crackles. Long tables covered with linens and candles give the opportunity to socialize, while our talented musicians play acoustic guitar, setting the mood for the evening.
Buck’s T-4 • The Main Dining Room at Buck’s T-4 has been recognized as among the finest in Montana and the skiing community. Our menus have focused on wild game and continental cuisine, creating a unique combination of traditional local ingredients and classic culinary techniques. Buck’s T-4 has made principles of outstanding service our top priority. We believe in providing the best possible dining experience for our guests, while retaining the original Montana ambiance that started in 1946. No visit to Big Sky is complete without sampling our latest creations. Open daily: 6pm – 9:00pm.
