Murphy Lake is a little moraine lake on the east side of the Salt River Range up the Greys River Road accessed from Alpine Wyoming.

People fish there but because of its easy access there is a lot of pressure.  Murphy Creek Campground is nearby and it is a popular place for canoeing and kayaking as well as a stop for a legion of side by sides and ATVs of all sizes and shapes.

A great place for a picnic, swim or photos opp; however, not a place for solitude. To my knowledge, this is the largest lake although very small easily accessible in the Grey’s River Drainage.
