Was born somewhere in Texas and is said to have been a preacher from Uvalde TX???
Sure would like to know more! Dolphin Ward Floyd was an interesting Texas Character who died in the Alamo. I haven't been able to trace to see if any of his children, John W. Floyd or Elizabeth Whitfield Floyd, or grand children could have been the parents of James Ellison Floyd.
